Visiting Shanghai means a time of one hour drive and a nice restaurant for me, every time. If you ask me what are the places I visit most in Shanghai, I’ll say it’s the Bud and XIN TIAN DI. Other than sticking with a favorite restaurant, I’d always like to try new things and do some research before I go. One of the recent found restaurant is the Yi Long Court locates inside of Peninsula (at Level2 inside of Peninsula) at the Bud. They basically offers some nice cantonese food and has some other Chinese style cuisine. Remarkably, it was recently been selected as a two-star Michelin restaurant, which became another reason that I made this food journey.

I actually went with my mum at the lunch time, so fortunately we could order some dim sum as well (dinner menu definitely doesn’t offer dim sum). If you looking forward a meal with some celebrity dishes, I recommend the prawn with sweet chilli sauce, and the fried crab claw stuffed with mince shrimp. As an outstanding traditional Chinese cuisine, the steamed small meat dumplings that serves in basket is also a must-try if you come. Yi Long Court is a place that you probably would like to visit at the Bud when you travel to Shanghai.
